Determining Your Diagnosis
At MicroSpine, we utilize our unique "pain mapping" system to confirm your source of pain. Too often, patients undergo conventional spinal surgery, only to continue having pain. Before any surgery at MicroSpine, our doctors confirm your exact diagnosis through the use of diagnostic injections that include nerve blocks, joint injections or discograms. Precise knowledge of your condition increases your chances for a successful outcome.
The MicroSpine procedure begins with a thorough exam by our Internist, to address your general health and any extenuating circumstances of your spinal problems. This level of intensive pre-operative planning is yet another reason why MicroSpine has such a high success rate. After your initial evaluation, you undergo our exclusive Pain Mapping procedures mentioned above. It is only after we confirm your exact problem that we consider a surgical procedure.

How We're Different
MicroSpine has always been at the forefront of endoscopic spinal surgery. We are the only endoscopic spine center that actually has published data to show the benefits of our surgeries. Whether it is the World's first paper on disc rejuvenation with stem cells, Sacroiliac Joint cures, or endoscopic hardware removal, MicroSpine knows that potential patients want real answers and not just flashy seminars or advertising (which you end up paying for). These research efforts have allowed us to become contracted with most insurance companies. The MicroSpine system includes precise confirmation of your problem before we operate. Too often people have surgery on the spine, only to either have no improvement or worsening of the symptoms. If we cannot confirm the source of your pain and thus confirm that the surgery has a good chance of helping you, we won't operate. Our goal is to provide the highest quality care at reasonable prices. As physicians, we take an oath to help people but at the same time we have to pay employees and other expenses, so at MicroSpine, we keep our profit margin very slim so that your expenses are realistic. No venture capitalists or greedy businessmen run MicroSpine and that is why you the patient comes first and profits second. That is the way it should be.
